Playworker  –  After School Club

We are recruiting a Playworker to join our After School Club at St Martin’s in Cranbrook. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and helping to create a relaxed, fun, and safe environment at the end of the school day.

You will support children through a range of play-based activities, helping them unwind, socialise, and enjoy their time at club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting a variety of play activities and crafts

• Building positive, caring relationships with children

• Assisting with snack time and end-of-day routines

• Ensuring the club environment remains safe and welcoming

What We’re Looking For:

• A friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic approach

• An interest in working with primary-aged children

• Experience in childcare is desirable but not essential

• Willingness to undertake training and follow safeguarding procedures
